2008 - A Year of Great Blessing!

This year has been been a wonderful year for us.

Ethan:

In February he had cataract surgery on his left eye and is now seeing 20/30 out of that eye. God was so faithful in giving us good doctors and nurses. It is so exciting to explore with him. He loves color. His favorites at the moment are green and orange.

He enjoyed travelling with us this summer to Redding, CA and camping on the Snake River. Ethan loves tubing and it was so much fun to experience that with him. He loved visiting the Walla Walla fair and riding the little tractors as well.
His is currently working on his letters and can now count to 20.
He turned 4 on Christmas day and is really enjoying everything playmobil.

Kealan:
Is now 18 months. The past 12 months have been an adventure to say the least. He is all boy and loves dirt, trucks and swords. He really started talking at 15 months. He now has mastered: mama or mommy, dada or daddy, down, more, whats that, whoa and more. He is a happy child and loves his big brother. I wants to be involved with everything that everyone is doing all the time. He LOVES animals. It doesn't really matter what...dogs seem to be his special favorite at the moment.

Jack & Rachel:
We are both grateful for the successful eye surgery Ethan received. It was a stretching of our faith and we both feel we came out stronger. God is always good!!!

We have been very busy with our church and continue to see God move in ways we never thought imaginable. See and hearing of people healed are a common occurrence. Everyone is starting to step into what they are called to do...once you know who you are in Christ everything changes.
Thank you Jesus.
Visiting Bethel Church in Redding, CA was the special highlight of this year for us. We received vision and impartation from God that was truly life changing. Our family has gotten stronger and we are pressing after God like never before.
God has been so good and we can't wait to see what He has for us in 2009!

Kaelan is now almost 2 months!
Time goes by so fast.
He is smiling and cooing.
He weighs 12lb and 7oz
He is 22 & 5/8 inches long.

Healing? Today? YES!!!

Ethan was diagnosed with cataracts last year and we have been praying that God would heal his eyes.

As of February he was seeing 20/40 out of both eyes and we were sent home with instructions to dialate both of his eyes each day so he could see around the cataract. We were told to patch his "better" eye of the two for 4 hours a day and that he would need to wear bifocals. I was thinking right this is really going to work with a 2 year old.

We have continued to contend in prayer for his eyes.

Yesterday we went for a follow up appointment.
He is now seeing 20/30!!! God is healing his eyes.

The doctor kept saying I just don't understand...are we sure that he was tested correctly...etc.

I asked for something tangible from God not knowing that this is what I would get. God was in my yesterday, is in my today my tomorrow. He knew how it would all play out yesterday before I did.
